Terms of service

The agreement

These terms apply when you enrol a student in the AI Creators Holiday Camp 2026. Enrolment is completed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. By submitting the enrolment form you accept these terms for yourself and for the student named on it, and you confirm the age you gave is the student’s real age.

What a place buys

Every plan buys the same place in the same program:

• 12 live online sessions across 4 weeks — Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 hours each
• The curriculum for the student’s learning group: Junior Creators, Intermediate Creators or AI Innovators
• A project every week, and a capstone project in week 4
• A recording of every session
• A place at the AI Creators Project Expo on Saturday, September 5, 2026
• A Certificate of Completion for every student who finishes

Classes run 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM WAT, depending on the cohort you pick. Everything is live and online. There is no physical venue, and there is no recordings-only version of the program.

Classes begin Monday, August 10, 2026 and the last session is Friday, September 4, 2026.

The 3 plans

Explorer is ₦45,000. Builder is ₦65,000. Innovator is ₦95,000. The curriculum does not change between them. The only difference is how much support comes with it.

• Explorer. Live classes, recordings, weekly projects, the Expo, the certificate.
• Builder. Everything in Explorer, plus weekly project reviews, written feedback on assignments, weekly small-group office hours, priority questions in class, and priority WhatsApp and email support.
• Innovator. Everything in Builder, plus 2 one-on-one mentoring sessions, a personal review of the final project, an individual learning plan, a portfolio review, and a parent progress consultation.

Nobody gets extra curriculum for paying more, and nobody is taught less for paying less. The one-on-one mentoring sessions in the Innovator plan are run under the rules in the Child Safety Policy: on the program account, scheduled, recorded, and open to a parent at any time.

Payment

• Prices are in Nigerian Naira and are per student. A second child needs a second enrolment and a second payment. If a tax applies to this fee, the price shown includes it.
• A place is confirmed when payment clears, not when the form is submitted. Places are capped and allocated first-come, first-served. If a cohort fills between your submission and your payment, we offer you the other cohort or refund you in full.
• Early bird pricing ends Friday, July 31, 2026.
• Registration closes Friday, August 7, 2026. We cannot add a student after that date. The rosters, the learning groups and the materials are fixed over that weekend so that instructors walk into the first session prepared.
• Fees are due in full up front. We do not run instalments for this cohort.

Moving between cohorts

You can move between the morning and the afternoon cohort free of charge up to Friday, August 7, 2026, as long as a place is open in the one you want. Email us and we confirm in writing; the move is not done until we do.

After classes begin we will still move a student if the receiving group has room, but we cannot promise it, and we will not move a student into a group outside their age band. A move does not restart the 4 weeks.

Refunds and cancellation

To cancel, email [email protected]. The date on your email is the date we use, not the date we reply.

• On or before Friday, July 31, 2026: full refund.
• Saturday, August 1 – Friday, August 7, 2026: 50% refund. The place was held and the cohort was closed to somebody else.
• On or after Monday, August 10, 2026, the first day of class: no refund. The place is filled, the group is set and the instructor is booked.
• If we cancel the program before it starts, you get a full refund. If we cancel a session and do not reschedule it, you get a pro-rata refund for the sessions not delivered. A session moved to another live date counts as delivered.
• If we move a date you cannot make, you can change cohort, or take a pro-rata refund for the sessions you lose.

Refunds go back to the account that paid, within 14 working days of us agreeing the refund. We do not deduct a handling fee.

A missed session

Every session is recorded and posted to enrolled families. A student who misses a class watches the recording and carries on. We do not run a private catch-up class for a missed session, and a missed session is not refundable and is not deducted from the fee.

Builder and Innovator families can bring anything the recording did not answer to office hours or to a mentoring session. Explorer families can email a question and get a written answer.

Instructors, and changes to the program

• Named instructors can change. Illness, a failed connection and travel all happen. If an instructor cannot teach, we substitute another instructor who teaches the same curriculum and has completed the same checks, or we move the session and tell you the new time at least 24 hours ahead wherever we can.
• We may adjust the detail. The running order of topics, a project brief, or a third-party tool swapped for another that teaches the same skill.
• What we will not change without asking you first:the 12 sessions, the 2-hour session length, the age bands for the learning groups, or your cohort’s time slot.

What you provide

A laptop or desktop computer, a reliable internet connection, a Google account, a notebook, and headphones, which we recommend rather than require. A phone is not enough — students build websites in week 3.

We cannot deliver the program to a student with no computer, and we do not refund for a device or connection problem at your end. If your connection drops mid-session, the recording is there the same day.

Acceptable use

• The joining link is for the enrolled student only. Do not share it, post it in a group chat, resell it, or put a second child on it.
• Recordings and materials are for your household’s learning. Do not re-upload them, sell them, or teach from them.
• Students do not record, screenshot or repost another student or an instructor.
• Nobody tries to get around a content filter or a safe-mode setting in a tool used in class. Finding a way around one and telling us is useful; using it is not.
• The Code of Conduct applies to every student, parent and instructor, and its consequences ladder applies here.

A serious breach — harassment, sharing another person’s image or personal data, or deliberately seeking content that has no place in a classroom — can end an enrolment with no refund for sessions already delivered.

Who owns what

• Your child owns what they make. The storybook, the game, the website, the capstone. Ours is the teaching, not the work.
• We own the course material. Lesson plans, slides, worksheets, project briefs, recordings and the curriculum itself. Your family gets to use them for learning, indefinitely. You do not get to republish, sell or teach from them.
• We showcase student work only with your written permission,given separately from these terms and revocable whenever you like. Permission for the Expo, which is attended by enrolled families, is not permission to put a project on a public website, in an advert or on social media — we ask again for that, naming where it will appear.
• If you change your mind, email us and we take the work down from anything we control within 14 days.
• We never publish a student’s surname, school, image or contact details alongside their work.

What we are and are not responsible for

• We deliver the 12 sessions, the feedback that comes with your plan, the Expo place and the certificate. We do not promise a grade, a school placement, an Expo award, or any particular outcome from having attended.
• Third-party tools are outside our control. If Scratch, the video-conferencing service or an AI tool goes down, changes its terms, or raises its minimum age, we find a substitute for the lesson. We are not liable for a third-party tool’s own conduct or content.
• We are not responsible for your device, your internet connection, or work a student did not save.
• Where the law lets us cap our liability, it is capped at the fee paid for the affected student. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Before that, email [email protected]. Most disagreements are a misunderstanding about a date or a plan, and a reply from a person fixes them in a day.

When these terms change

The version on this page on the day you enrol is the version that applies to your enrolment. If we change these terms mid-program in a way that affects you, we email you and you can take a pro-rata refund for the sessions that remain.
