Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Letternerd. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who can use Letternerd

You must be at least 13 years old. Games rated 18+ are for adults only: you must be 18 or older, have an account and have added your age before you open or play one. The age you add is your own declaration, and you are responsible for it being true and for who else uses your device or account.

2. Your account

You can play as a guest, which creates an account tied to your device, or add an email or Google sign-in. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, as described in the privacy policy.

3. Acceptable use

Follow the community rules. Do not use Letternerd to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, to share anything sexual involving a person under 18, to spam, to cheat or to disrupt the service, or to try to access accounts, rooms or data that are not yours.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write, record, draw, upload and create. You give Letternerd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display and play it for the purposes of running the service: showing it to the people in your room, checking it for safety and keeping the record of a game. You confirm you have the right to share it.

5. Games you publish

When you publish a game to everyone, you also allow other people to play it, rate it and review it, and to remix it into their own games, with credit to you as the source. You can unpublish a game at any time; copies already remixed from it stay with their makers.

6. AI-generated content

Some games, answers and recaps are written by AI. It can be wrong or unsuitable. Report anything that breaks the rules and do not rely on AI output as fact or advice.

7. 18+ games

18+ games contain sexual content and are for consenting adults. Do not show them to anyone under 18, do not pressure anyone to play or to answer, and let anyone pass on anything. We may remove access to 18+ games from an account at any time.

8. Gold and virtual items

Gold, XP, achievements and cosmetic items are virtual. They are earned by playing, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and are not property. We may change how they are earned or spent, and may adjust balances to correct errors or abuse.

9. Changes and availability

Letternerd is provided as it is. We may change, pause or remove features or games, and we do not promise it will always be available or error free.

10. Suspension and ending

We may remove content, unpublish a game, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community rules, or that puts others at risk. You may stop using Letternerd at any time.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Letternerd is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other players say or do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Using Letternerd after a change means you accept it.
