What is Wordle?
Wordle is a daily word puzzle created by Josh Wardle and bought by The New York Times in 2022, which now runs it as part of NYT Games. Everyone gets the same five-letter word each day and six guesses to find it. After each guess the tiles change colour to show which letters are in the right place, which are in the word somewhere else, and which are not in it. There is one puzzle a day, and players often share their grid of coloured squares.
