Two ways to play a how well do you know me quiz
There are two versions of this game, and they suit different moments.
- A quiz you write. You choose the questions and the right answers, then send it to friends. Everyone plays it on their own, whenever they like, and gets a score. This is the classic version, and it is good for sharing widely.
- A live prediction game. Nobody writes anything in advance. One person answers about themselves, and the others predict what they said. Best Friend Test and Know Your Person both work this way, so the questions are always fresh.
Use the list below for either one: as the questions in your own quiz, or as a warm-up before a live game.

How to make a quiz about yourself on Letternerd
Writing a quiz by hand in a notes app is fine, but you end up marking everyone’s answers yourself. Letternerd’s quiz maker builds a game you can send as a link, and it does the scoring.
- Go to make a game and describe it in a sentence, for example “a how well do you know me quiz about me, with my favourite food, my comfort film and my worst habit”. Or start from this idea straight away.
- Check every question and put in your real answers. Add a few believable wrong options, because a quiz where the right answer is obvious is no fun.
- Edit anything by hand. Editing is free, and you can change the wording until it sounds like you.
- Choose who can see it: keep it private, share it by link, or publish it so other people can play it and remix it for themselves.
- Send the link in your chat. Friends play as guests, with no account.
Your first AI-built game needs no account. After that, AI building uses AI credits that come with a free account and top up every month. Our guide on how to make a quiz for friends goes into more detail, and there are ready-made starting points in templates.
Best Friend Test and Know Your Person: no writing needed
If you would rather play than write, try a prediction game. In Best Friend Test, they answer about themselves and you prove you know your friend. It is played by two to six people, so a few of you can compete over who knows them best. In Guess who, one friend answers and everyone else guesses what they said, which suits a bigger group of three to twelve.
To find out which of your friends actually think alike, How in sync are we? has everyone answer the same questions and tells you which two of you are the closest match.
- Best Friend Test2–6 players · 10 minThey answer about themselves. Prove you know your friend.
- Know Your Person2–6 players · 10 minThey answer about themselves. You predict what they said.
- Guess who3–12 players · 12 minOne friend answers. Everyone else guesses what they said.
- How in sync are we?2–12 players · 5 minEveryone answers the same questions. Find out which two of you think most alike.
- Two of a Kind2–8 players · 7 minFour answers, one pick each. Score when you read each other’s mind.
- In Sync2–8 players · 8 minAnswer at the same time. Score only when you both pick the same thing.
Tips for a quiz your friends will finish
- Ten to fifteen questions is plenty. Long quizzes get abandoned halfway.
- Mix easy and hard. Start easy so everyone gets a few right, then end with the ones only your best friend will know.
- Include one inside joke. It is the question people screenshot.
- Avoid trick questions. “Which of these do I hate?” with four foods you hate is not fair.
- Post the top score. A little rivalry in the group chat is half the fun.
